{"id":2105,"date":"2023-01-27T06:47:04","date_gmt":"2023-01-27T06:47:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/p2tcommunity.eu\/news-de\/supporting-migrant-and-refugee-parents-through-an-educational-inclusion-process-the-p2t-project-has-started\/"},"modified":"2023-01-27T06:47:04","modified_gmt":"2023-01-27T06:47:04","slug":"supporting-migrant-and-refugee-parents-through-an-educational-inclusion-process-the-p2t-project-has-started","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/p2tcommunity.eu\/de\/news-de\/supporting-migrant-and-refugee-parents-through-an-educational-inclusion-process-the-p2t-project-has-started\/","title":{"rendered":"SUPPORTING MIGRANT AND REFUGEE PARENTS THROUGH AN EDUCATIONAL INCLUSION PROCESS: THE P2T PROJECT HAS STARTED"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/danilodolci.org\/en\/\">Centro per lo Sviluppo Creativo \u201cDanilo Dolci\u201d<\/a><\/strong>, together with six other partners, has started a process to promote the involvement and the<strong>&nbsp;inclusion of migrant and refugee parents<\/strong>&nbsp;within pre-primary and primary schools in Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first transnational meeting of&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/danilodolci.org\/en\/project\/p2tcommunity\/\">P2T \u2013 COMMUNITY<\/a>&nbsp;<\/strong>took place on the 29th and 30th November 2022 in Ljubljana. The project aims to build a virtuous process to help these parents to&nbsp;<strong>feel part of the host community<\/strong>&nbsp;and teachers to acquire the necessary tools to&nbsp;<strong>communicate and relate<\/strong>&nbsp;more easily with people coming from different cultural contexts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the project, it is expected to elaborate:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>A transnational report<\/strong>&nbsp;containing the good practices collected about the topic identified in the educational field at a local and international level.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Creative workshops<\/strong>&nbsp;that will be organized with migrant and refugee parents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>methodological manual<\/strong>&nbsp;on the activities held during the workshops to allow the reproduction of the course.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>An online platform<\/strong>&nbsp;in which the materials, resources and good practices collected during the project can be uploaded.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Ljubljana, the project partners together with several teachers from all the countries involved met to discuss the launch of the various activities. Around a round table, the participants had the opportunity to share the&nbsp;<strong>main difficulties of teachers<\/strong>&nbsp;in relating with migrant\/refugee parents. During the meeting, it was revealed that schools are often forced to&nbsp;<strong>fill a gap left by the institutions<\/strong>. For this reason, having guidelines on how to behave in front of certain eventualities can be of great help for teachers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Therefore, meeting all together allowed the participants to highlight the issues to be addressed in the workshops that will be held in the different partner cities.
